I thank you all for your help, I started up my TBBS/TDBS software and used it with success last week.

When programming in the house and testing it everything worked somewhat fast, when I actually used it last week my program processes went from 10 seconds to 20 minutes after adding many records to my databases. I am running a program that uses alot of calculations and hard disk action, the speed is really hurting my progress.

I am currently using a 486DX-66V dinosaur with com1 and com2 ports,

Where can I buy a Super Fast Computer to cure this problem?

Hi

Any single core pentium to pentium 4 will work, alsa set up a ram disk at start up and copy the database there, i then run a ghost job that copies it back every hour and at shut down.

I had my TBBS runing on a Pentium II with 128meg of ram
