I have TBBS up and running and I spent hours building programs in TDBS,
I have 2 additional computers hooked up thru serial ports com1/com2,
I am using hyperterminal to access the tbbs, the menus work properly but when I access any of the TDBS programs they dont display properly.
I have the terminal set to use ansi and IBM graphics, clear screen and text does not work. |

It could be anything, do they work when you login using the console (L)?
try VT100, also FlowControl, the line setup, speed of lines, Font just to name a few....

| I downloaded and old copy of procomm plus dos based and ran the software on a old dos computer hooked up to the computer that has mltbbs, tdbs and still the same thing ANSI/VT100, it will display tbbs menus fine, but it will not display any TDBS screen @ functions and clear commands properly. |

What terminal emulation did you select on the TBBS side? If you selected VT/100 instead of ANSI-BBS it most likely won't all work correctly.
There are a lot of terminal types that are similar and thus some things appear to work, but you need to make sure TBBS is sending the codes that your terminal expects.
I think in this case TBBS went too far to attempt to support many terminal types and ultimately just created a confusing mess. |

wooohoo whooohoo thanks, I added type 21 change terminal setttings to my menu and went from vt100 to <F>IBM PC and now it works It didnt work before even though it showed in uledit that I had graphics and ansi allowed, including changing the cls codes.
change terminal settings in the menu is what fixed it.
thanks guys,
I am leaving tommorow with all my equipment and software to run a race,
I hope this was the last major bug, hopefully I am not stressed out panicking in here anytime soon. |
